Channel 101 would like to wish anyone reading this a highly ironic Fourth of July.
I want you to understand that I do this not out of anger or any disrespect toward your client, a legendary comedian who has been a major creative influence on myself and countless members of Channel 101's creative community. I happen to know that the young man who created the show did so from a place of admiration for Mr. Cosby, and that is the spirit in which this site continues to offer it.
I completely understand if you'll be wanting to pursue any action against me as the administrator of this site. You're just doing your job for an hourly rate, and I'm just doing what feels right for free. Initially, what felt right was to be polite, as there was nothing at stake for us, as we generate no revenue from House of Cosbys. Now, having been pled with and chastised for my lack of "courage" and "convictions," I've been led to believe that what feels right to me doesn't matter in the face of what I'm told are larger principles.
And so, with a heavy heart, and downcast eyes, I give you the choice of whether or not to fight me. And I say that if we fight, let's make sure we go all the way, and let's hope that the man left standing is the man with the most to offer humanity.
